Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs

These smoked salmon scrambled eggs are a fancy and tasty way to start the day or have brunch. They are creamy, savory, and full of protein. When you mix the smoky salmon with the rich and fluffy scrambled eggs, you get a dish that is both elegant and filling.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, for garnish

Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined

Season with salt and pepper

Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and melt the butter

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook undisturbed for a few seconds until it starts to set at the edges

Using a spatula, gently push the eggs from the edges towards the center, allowing the uncooked eggs to flow to the edges of the skillet

Continue cooking and gently stirring until the eggs are mostly set but still slightly runny

Add the chopped smoked salmon to the skillet and gently fold it into the eggs

Cook for another minute or until the eggs are fully set and the salmon is heated through

Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh chives for garnish

Serve immediately and enjoy!
