Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced green bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced Genoa salami
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions:
Get your wood-fired pizza oven ready by heating it up to 370425F 7080C
On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a circle
You want it to be about 1/4 inch thick
Make sure the dough can easily slide into the oven by moving it to a pizza peel or a wooden board
Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough, making sure to leave a little space around the edges for the crust
Put half of the mozzarella cheese shreds on top of the sauce
Pepperoni, black olives, green bell peppers, red onions, banana peppers, cherry tomatoes, provolone cheese, and Genoa salami should be stacked on top of the cheese
On top of the toppings, sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese
Add salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and dried oregano to taste
Carefully put the pizza into the wood-fired oven that has already been heated
Cook for two to three minutes, turning it every now and then to make sure it cooks evenly
Take it out of the oven when the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned
Allow the pizza to cool for one minute
Next, add some fresh basil leaves and a little olive oil on top
Cut it up and serve it hot
Enjoy your wood-fired pizza that tastes like an Italian deli!
