Brie & Caramelized Onion Stuffed Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices of Brie cheese
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- Lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions:
Cut the ground beef into 12 equal pieces and shape them into thin patties
Add salt and pepper to each patty
On six of the patties, put a slice of Brie cheese
Melt the butter or heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat
It will take about 15 to 20 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced onions until the onions turn caramelized
Pour the balsamic vinegar over the onions that have been caramelized and mix them together
Add some caramelized onions to the patties that have Brie on top of them
Put the rest of the patties on top of the ones with onions on top, and seal the edges to keep the filling inside
On a grill or skillet over medium-high heat, cook the burgers for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them
You can serve the stuffed burgers on lettuce leaves with any other toppings you like
