Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions:

Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter

Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted

Stir in the vanilla extract and rice krispies cereal until well combined

Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to create the crust

In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth

If using nuts, stir them into the melted white chocolate

Spread the white chocolate mixture evenly over the rice krispie crust in the pan

Top with the remaining semisweet chocolate and rice krispie mixture, pressing gently to adhere

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set

Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper overhang

Cut into squares and serve

Enjoy!
